AWARE Environmental, Inc. (AEI) is a local multi-disciplined environmental consulting firm, with its office located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since 1988, AEI has offered a full range of environmental engineering services to industrial and municipal clients both locally and around the world.

AEI personnel are experienced in the development/implementation of environmental projects for all major industrial categories as well as municipalities. AEI’s experience in managing environmental engineering projects covers a full range of services including regulatory compliance review, initial planning, permitting, treatability testing, preliminary and detailed treatment plants and systems, design and preparation of construction plans and contract documents, construction inspection, contract administration, assistance in start-up of treatment plants, operator training, and all other aspects of project management.
